Money for Health Care Not for ICE! Demand that Rep. Nicole Malliotakis vote against a new bill to give LOTS MORE money to ICE and border protection. That vote is happening very soon! We’ll also be demanding that she work instead to restore HUGE health care spending cuts that she voted for as part of Donald Trump’s #OneBigUgly bill — it stole a whopping $1 trillion from Medicaid and safety net hospitals in order to giveaway HUGE tax cuts to billionaires, big corporations, and special interests. Tens of millions of lower income people will now lose their health insurance, and hospitals will become financially strained and some will close.

Operation Overlord – In the early hours of June 6, under the cover of darkness, American and British paratroopers dropped into Normandy from more than 1,200 aircraft. Once daylight appeared, gliders brought in additional paratroopers. American airborne forces of the 82nd and 101st worked valiantly to achieve their inland objectives, including the capture of Sainte-Mere Eglise and securing key approaches to the Allied beachhead.
