Join SIAC and find community on the heels of our successful No Kings March and keep the momentum going! We want to hear what your concerns and priorities are, to share our activities and future plans with you, to update you on happenings on Staten Island, and to get educated by our guest speaker, Susan Lerner, Exec Dir of Common Cause, on election protection / interference and what we can do here in Staten Island. Then join us for a festive and powerful Visibility Brigade on a Staten Island highway overpass to broadcast our message “THE PEOPLE GOT THE POWER”. Horns will blaze from drivers in solidarity as we celebrate our collective power. These 2 bills must be passed with urgency in Albany to prevent local law enforcement from colluding with ICE, and ensures the elimination of warehouses for detention in NYS. Last week Indivisibles from all over the state descended on our electeds in Albany and Governor Hochul to demand that these bills be passed as written. The push continues. Call the following key representatives:
